Iranian Automotive Industry

 Iranian automotive industry has been in focus of attention in recent years and vehicle production as well as the auto parts manufacturing have become the fastest growing industries in Iran. The vehicle production rate in Iran has exceeded 1 million vehicles each year. In addition to the local demand that is anticipated to remain around the same figures by 2012, the exports of vehicles and the auto parts also show significant increases.

 Several aspects of automotive engineering are in the circle of attention, including vehicle manufacturing, engine research and development, and vehicle dynamics studies.

Iranian Society of Automotive Engineers

The Iranian Society of Automotive Engineers serves automotive engineers with conferences, technical information, and short courses. The audiences range from automotive industry managers and engineers to the graduate and undergraduate students of automotive engineering or related disciplines. Contributors and speakers to the courses or seminars are from well known organizations worldwide.

 The Society of Automotive Engineers of Iran has a large volume of interested applicants for joining the society. The society’s strategy, however, is to carefully selecting the potential members after a reviewing process. Classes of membership at the time being are Honored Member, Corporate Member and Associate Member. More than 300 applications for the membership have already been submitted to the Society and are in the process of refereeing.
