Consortium of Top 5 Universities of Technology Established

A consortium of Top 5 Universities of Technology in Iran consisting Isfahan University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Khajeh Nassir Toosi University of Technology, Sharif University of Technology, and Iran University of Science and Technology was initiated. The consortium called UT5 aims at development and promotion of the cooperation in the various technical and engineering grounds particularly in the international level, and also influencing the decision and policy makings related to the engineering and technical development nationally and internationally.
The consortium aims to cooperate among members on defining joint International research programs and technologies, holding international scientific conferences and workshops according to research and technological priorities, and to utilize the academic international relations, and other scientific activities among the members.
Also the consortium seeks the implementation of the doctorate and post doctorate programs, publishing international books and journals, exchange of international guest students, and other international and national scientific activities with the support of the facilities of the members.
