The joint research project between IUST and Monash University accomplished successfully

A joint research project between Iran University of Science and Technology and Monash University started since 2016 for development of international scientific cooperation between the two universities and with the support and coordination of vice chancellery for international affairs at IUST.
The project was accomplished successfully after four years of joint cooperation among faculty members and students of the two universities.
The project was defined in the framework of a DECRA project and was focused on the application of nano and micro materials in the three dimensional printing of concrete.
Some of the achievements of the first project in this framework are:
Printing of more than 10 scientific papers in authentic journals Q1, including Nature Communication, with the joint cooperation of authors form IUST and Australian Universities.
Granting 3 scholarships, each for 6 months, for sabbatical leaves of IUST students through the resources of the project.
Establishing and equipping the nano-civil lab. in the IUST School of Civil Engineering using the financial resources of the project and financial support of IUST.
Inviting distinguished and top ranked scholars, like Prof. Behrokh Khoshnevis, for presenting speeches and exchanging ideas with the audiences at IUST.
