IUST Vice Chancellor for International Affairs attended session for Iran- Turkey Scientific and Technological Cooperation
A session on Iran- Turkey scientific, technological, and academic cooperation with the aim of providing operation and developing the MOU between Iran Ministry of Science and Technology (MSRT) and Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Turkey (TÜBITAK) held online on June 2, 2021.
 
In the session hosted by University of Tabriz, as the Iranian leading house for academic cooperation with Turkey, Prod. Salar Amoli, MSRT acting minister for international scientific cooperation, delivered speeches on cooperation on science and technology between the two countries. Then Prof. Mandal, TÜBITAK president talked about the ways of mutual cooperation with Iranian universities.

Dr. Najafi, deputy minister of research and technology of Iran Ministry of Health and Medical Education (MOHME) talked about NIMAD (National Institute for Medical Research Development) cooperation with Turkish universities in medical grounds. Prof. Majidi, Chancellor of University of Tabriz also presented a report on the implemented cooperation programs in the last two years. In this virtual session, in which the universities’ vice presidents for international affairs attended, the ways of scientific cooperation between Iran and Turkey universities, as well as the existed capacities and the process of their development were discussed.
