IUST ranking improved in four significant ranking systems

According to the reports from ranking systems of QS, Leiden, Times Higher Education (world ranking), and Times Higher Education (Asia ranking), the rank of Iran university of Science and Technology upgraded 100 steps while the number of universities were increased by 10 to 30 percent. In the ranking of Times Higher Education (Asia ranking), after 20- steps upgrade in the past year, IUST achieved 11 step upgrade in the current year and stands at 76 rank in Asia, while, as well, the number of ranked universities in Asia increased  from 417 to 551, with a 30 percent growth.
At present Iran University of Science and Technology is ranked 550 among top world universities in the QS ranking, 501-600 in Times Higher Education world ranking, and 609 in Leiden ranking.
 
Times Higher Education ranking further considers educational and research statues as well as universities’ income as the ranking index. Leiden ranking more considers the research products of the universities for ranking, and QS ranking also further considers the universities’ reputation form the viewpoint of the alumni and employers as its index for ranking.
IUST’s balanced operation and progress in these grounds concluded in upgrading its ranking in the four ranking systems mentioned above.
