Conflict of Interest
Authors are requested to evident whether impending conflicts do or do not exist. If an organization encompasses any financial interest in the outcome of the study, the authors are appealed to provide a declaration that have full access to all the data in the study and take complete responsibility for the integrity of the data and the accuracy of the data analysis. All studies (if necessary based on the type and subject), must be approved by the relevant Ethics Committee/ Institution review board of the respective institutions. Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to be originated by the authors. A copyright transfer agreement is signed by the corresponding author, upon the acceptance of the manuscript, on behalf of all authors, for publication to be legally responsible towards the journal ethics and privacy policy. Authors will be notified as soon as possible of decisions concerning the suitability of their manuscripts for publication in the journal. Once the article has been accepted for publication, it will be copy edited and typeset, after which the corresponding author will be sent information on accessing page proofs to correct. Other than the correction of typographical errors, alterations cannot be made at this stage. Please note that there are no page charges to publish in IJEEE. The submitted materials may be considered for inclusion but cannot be returned and editors of the journal reserve the right to accept or reject any article at any stage, if necessary.
Further information on the Conflict of Interest Disclosure form can be found here.
Competing Interests
Disclosure of interests provides a complete and transparent process and helps readers form their own judgments of potential bias. The IJEEE requests from the authors to disclose interests that are directly/indirectly related to their submission. Interests within the last 2 years of beginning the work must be reported. Interests that should be considered and disclosed in IJEEE are as the following:
Employment: Present or anticipated employment by each organization that may gain or lose financially through publication of the submitted manuscript to the IJEEE. It can be included several affiliations.
Funding: The authors should provide the research grants from funding agencies or research support by organizations that may gain or lose financially through publication of this manuscript at IJEEE.
Financial Interests: i) Stocks or shares in companies that may gain or lose financially through publication of this manuscript at the IJEEE; ii) patents or patent applications whose value may be affected by the publication of this manuscript at the IJEEE; iii) consultation fees or other forms of remuneration from organizations that may gain or lose financially by the publication of this manuscript at the IJEEE.
Non-Financial Interests: The IJEEE requests from the authors to disclose interests that go beyond financial interests. These interests could impart bias on the work submitted for publication such as professional interests, personal relationships, or personal beliefs such as position on editorial board.
All of the above must be summarized in a statement and included in the separate file entitled “Conflict of Interest”. The corresponding author collects the conflict of interest disclosure forms from all authors. If there is a problem in the paper, the IJEEE can reject the paper even after publication.
