Abstract
The present paper will investigate the specific elements of architectural design based on Islamic beliefs, by taking Iranian Architectural values and vernacular climate design methods into consideration. This research will assess the spirit of experimental elements, created by the inhabitants, according to recent scientific findings. The main concentration will be on the physical design of rural areas in hot, arid and sunny regions of Iran in order to have active and healthy environments and to emphasize on transferring all these sustainable values to the future.

Abstract
It is the purpose of this paper to introduce a computer software that is developed for the analysis of general multi degree of freedom rotor bearing systems with non-linear support elements. A numerical-analytical method for the prediction of steady state periodic response of large order nonlinear rotor dynamic systems is addressed which is based on the harmonic balance technique. By utilizing harmonic balance with appropriate condensation, it is possible to considerably reduce the number of simultaneous nonlinear equations inherent to this approach. Using this method, the set of nonlinear differential equations governing the motion of the rotor systems is transformed to a set of nonlinear algebraic equations. A condensation technique is also used to reduce the nonlinear algebraic equations to those only related to the physical coordinates associated with nonlinear components. The stability (linear) of the equilibrium solutions may be conveniently evaluated using Floquet theory, particularly if the damper force components are evaluated in fixed, rather than rotating, reference frames. The versatility of this technique is illustrated on systems of increasing complexity with and without damper centralizing springs.

Abstract
Selecting an effective project plan is a significant area in the project management. The present paper introduces a technique to identify the project plan efficient frontier for assessing the alternative project plans and selecting the best plan. The efficient frontier includes two criteria: the project cost and the project time. Besides, the paper presents a scheme to incorporate Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) into the project risk analysis.
This scheme is used to estimate the expected impacts of the occurrence of the project risks on the project cost and the project time. Also, a theoretical model is defined to provide integration between project risk analysis and overall project planning using the breakdown structures. We believe that applying the proposed technique helps the company’s managers in most effective manner dealing with his complicated project plan assessment and selection problems. The application of the technique was implemented in the companies in construction industry in which represented a considerable cost and time improvements.

Abstract
This paper is to develop a knowledge management (KM) model in some Iranian academic research centers (ARC) based on KM critical success factors. General KM critical success factors (CSF) were identified through literature review. Then the research procedure led to the identification of KM critical success factors in Iranian ARCs including 16 different factors. It was done through first stage survey by about 300 sample targets. Then, these 16 factors were surveyed separately again by experts through a Delphi panel. The experts suggested their practical solutions for exploiting the 16 factors in ARCs through a KM framework based on a KM cycle. This 2 years research has been done during 2006 to 2008.

Abstract
Service Oriented Enterprises (SOEs) are subject to constant change and variation. In this paper, the changes are considered from an economic perspective based on service culture notion. Once a change is implemented, the costs of some member services may increase, whereas the costs of some other services may reduce. We construct a game theoretic model trying to capture the possible conflicting interests of different parties in a SOE. Three incentive mechanisms are applied to the model. The first incentive mechanism shares the utility equally among the services involved in the change the second utility-sharing rule is based on the Nash’s bargaining solution, which accommodates the possible biased interdependencies inside the network and the third rule, based on the Harsanyi’s modified Shapley value, takes into account the possible coalition formation among the network parties. Since the three rules are analytically solvable, the principles of utility sharing can be implemented, for instance, as ex-ante contracts.

Abstract
This paper aims at emphasizing the importance of establishing a Project Management (PM) system in Technology Transfer (TT) processes and developing a conceptual framework for it. TT is an important process in Technology Management affairs for all enterprises. Most of the time, lack of a particular concentration on technical, commercial and legal aspects of TT process, leads to mismanagement of other aspects of transferring project, like Time and Project Integration. This situation may lead to failure and loss of many opportunities in transfer process. To overcome this problem, inputs, outputs and activities of a typical TT processes are identified and based on these components, a conceptual framework for managing this project & prevent the loss is developed using Project Management models and methodologies.

Abstract
One of the crucial factors affecting success of e-banking services is customer’s trust. Acquiring customer trust depends on different variables that an e-banking struggles to control. This research aims to explain and clarify the inter-relationships and the interaction effects among customer’s online trust and other relevant factors such as satisfaction and loyalty in e-banking. We developed a model of customer's trust in e-banking industry based on the outcomes of previous researches and semi-structured interviews with experts in e-banking services. To examine the model a descriptive survey was applied. The survey sample population consisted of 405 randomly taken e-banking service users in the city of Tehran, according to a cluster random sampling skim. An important part of the results revealed Trust beliefs relate directly with satisfaction and loyalty among e-banking customers.

Abstract
In nowadays world competitive market, on account of the development of electronic media and its influence on shortening distances, companies require some core competencies in order to be able to compete with numerous competitors in industry and sustain their situation in such a market. In addition companies achieve this target are those which their processes perform great and exploit from competitive price, quality, guarantee, etc. Since some parameters such as price and quality are so dependent on the performance of company supply chain management, so the results can highly impress the final price and quality of products. One of the main processes of supply chain management is supplier selection process which its accurate implementation can dramatically increase company competitiveness. In presented article two layers of suppliers have been considered as a chain of suppliers. First layer suppliers are evaluated by two groups of criteria which the first one encompasses criteria belongs to first layer suppliers features and the second group contains criteria belong to the characteristics of second layer suppliers. One of the criteria is the performance of second layer suppliers against environmental issues. Then the proposed approach is solved by a method combined of concepts of fuzzy set theory (FST) and linear programming (LP) which has been nourished by real data extracted from an engineering design and supplying parts company. At the end results reveal the high importance of considering second layer suppliers features as a criteria for selecting the best supplier.

Abstract
This paper deals with minimization of tardiness in single machine scheduling problem when each job has two different due-dates i.e. ordinary due-date and drop dead date. The drop dead date is the date in which jobs’ weights rise sharply or the customer cancels the order. A linear programming formulation is developed for the problem and since the problem is known to be NP-hard, three heuristic algorithms are designed for the problem based on Tabu search mechanism. Extensive numerical experiments were conducted to observe and compare the behavior of the algorithms in solving the problem..

Abstract
This paper aims to evaluate inventory cost of a Two-echelon serial supply chain system under vendor managed inventory program with stochastic demand, and examine the effect of environmental factors on the cost of overall system. For this purpose, we consider a two-echelon serial supply chain with a manufacturer and a retailer. Under Vendor managed inventory program, the decision on inventory levels are made by manufacturer centrally. In this paper, we assume that the manufacturer monitors inventory levels at the retailer location and replenishes retailer's stock under (r, n, q) policy moreover, the manufacturer follows make-to-order strategy in order to respond retailer's orders. In the other word, when the inventory position at the retailer reaches reorder point, r, the manufacturer initiates production of Q=nq units with finite production rate, p. The manufacturer replenishes the retailer's stock with replenishment frequency n, and the complete batch of q units to the retailer during the production time. We develop a renewal reward model for the case of Poisson demand, and drive the mathematical formula of the long run average total inventory cost of system under VMI. Then, by using Monte Carlo simulation, we examine the effect of environmental factors on the cost of overall system under VMI .

Abstract
Response time is one of the critical web service quality dimensions. It refers to how long it takes that a web service responds to request of a user. In order to manage the response time, pricing schemes can work as an efficient access control mechanism. In this paper, we study competition between two providers offering functionally same web services where there is a monopoly service provider. The monopoly offers a service that is complementary to their services. Each provider needs to decide a service level (L or H) and a corresponding price for the selected service level to meet the service level guarantee. We construct a Stackelberg game and benefit from queuing theory concept to propose a model that can examine strategic choices of the providers .

Abstract
Managing products’ end-of-life and recovery of used products is gaining significant importance during last years. Therefore, managing the reverse flow of products can be an important potential for winning consumers in future competitive markets. In this context, establishing reverse logistics networks is becoming a main problem in reverse supply chains. Genetic Algorithm (GA) is utilized to solve the proposed NP-hard problem and find the best possible design for different facilities. In order to test the applicability of proposed GA, we suppose a tire reverse logistic case and solve the problem. The results show that the least cost will be achieved by using the free space of distribution centers and integrating collection and inspection centers within them. In addition, we suggest using hybrid algorithm in future allocation problems to obtain best solutions .

Abstract
The unprecedented growth of competition in the banking technology has raised the importance of retaining current customers and acquires new customers so that is important analyzing Customer behavior, which is base on bank databases. Analyzing bank databases for analyzing customer behavior is difficult since bank databases are multi-dimensional, comprised of monthly account records and daily transaction records. Few works have focused on analyzing of bank databases from the viewpoint of customer behavioral analyze. This study presents a new two-stage frame-work of customer behavior analysis that integrated a K-means algorithm and Apriori association rule inducer. The K-means algorithm was used to identify groups of customers based on recency, frequency, monetary behavioral scoring predicators it also divides customers into three major profitable groups of customers. Apriori association rule inducer was used to characterize the groups of customers by creating customer profiles. Identifying customers by a customer behavior analysis model is helpful characteristics of customer and facilitates marketing strategy development .

Abstract
This article investigates integrated production-inventory models with backorder. A single supplier and a single buyer are considered and shortage as backorder is allowed for the buyer. The proposed models determine optimal order quantity, optimal backorder quantity and optimal number of deliveries on the joint total cost for both buyer and supplier. Two cases are discussed: single-setup-single-delivery (SSSD) case and single-setup-multiple-deliveries (SSMD) case. Two algorithms are applied for optimizing SSMD case: Gradient search and particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithms. Finally, numerical example and sensitivity analysis are provided to compare the total cost of the SSSD and SSMD cases and effectiveness of the considered algorithms. Findings show that the policy of frequent shipments in small lot sizes results in less total cost than single shipment policy .

Supplier selection is naturally a complex multi-objective problem including both quantitative and qualitative factors. This paper deals with this issue from a new view point. A quantity discount situation, which plays a role of motivator for buyer, is considered. Moreover, in order to find a reasonable compromise solution for this problem, at first a multi-objective modeling is presented. Then a proposed fuzzy compromise programming is utilized to determine marginal utility function for each criterion. Also, group decision makers’ preferences have taken into account and the weight of each criterion has been measured by forming pair-wise comparison matrixes. Finally the proposed approach is conducted for a numerical example and its efficacy and efficiency are verified via this section. The results indicate that the proposed method expedites the generation of compromise solution .

Hub location problems (HLP) are synthetic optimization problems that appears in telecommunication and transportation networks where nodes send and receive commodities (i.e., data transmissions, passengers transportation, express packages, postal deliveries, etc.) through special facilities or transshipment points called hubs. In this paper, we consider a central mine and a number of hubs (e.g., factories) connected to a number of nodes (e.g., shops or customers) in a network. First, the hub network is designed, then, a raw materials transportation from a central mine to the hubs (i.e., factories) is scheduled. In this case, we consider only one transportation system regarded as single machine scheduling. Furthermore, we use this hub network to solve the scheduling model. In this paper, we consider the capacitated single allocation hub covering location problem (CSAHCLP) and then present the mixed-integer programming (MIP) model. Due to the computational complexity of the resulted models, we also propose two improved meta-heuristic algorithms, namely a genetic algorithm and a shuffled frog leaping algorithm in order to find a near-optimal solution of the given problem. The performance of the solutions found by the foregoing proposed algorithms is compared with exact solutions of the mathematical programming model .

Abstract
In this paper a single server queuing production system is considered which is subject to gradual deterioration. The system is discussed under two different deteriorating conditions. A planning horizon is considered and server which is a D/M/1 queuing system is gradually deteriorates through time periods. A maintenance policy is taken into account whereby the server is restored to its initial condition before some distinct periods. This system is modeled to obtain optimal values of arrival rates and also optimal maintenance policy which minimizes production, holding and maintenance costs and tries to satisfy demands through time periods. The model is also considered to control customers’ sojourn times. For each deteriorating condition a model is developed. Models are solved by GA based algorithms and results for a sample are represented .

Abstract
The science parks have important role in development of technology and are able to make economic growth of the countries. The purpose of this paper is the presentation of a Fuzzy Expert System (FIS) as Intelligent Systems to evaluate the science and technology parks. One of the problems for evaluating Science and Technology parks is to have the high number of criteria and science parks which AHP method and some other MCDM methods that with them have evaluated parks are not suitable practically. Therefore presenting a system which is able to compare this high number of science parks with many criteria is one of the findings of this paper. At the end, we have described a numerical example. This paper is a useful information resource for managers of Science and Technology parks and interested parties to invest and to recognize the science parks better.

Abstract
The Network Design Problem (NDP) is one of the important problems in combinatorial optimization. Among the network design problems, the Multicommodity Capacitated Network Design (MCND) problem has numerous applications in transportation, logistics, telecommunication, and production systems. The MCND problems with splittable flow variables are NP-hard, which means they require exponential time to be solved in optimality. With binary flow variables or unsplittable MCND, the complexity of the problem is increased significantly. With growing complexity and scale of real world capacitated network design applications, metaheuristics must be developed to solve these problems. This paper presents a simulated annealing approach with innovative representation and neighborhood structure for unsplittable MCND problem. The parameters of the proposed algorithms are tuned using Design of Experiments (DOE) method and the Design-Expert statistical software. The performance of the proposed algorithm is evaluated by solving instances with different dimensions from OR-Library. The results of the proposed algorithm are compared with the solutions of CPLEX solver. The results show that the proposed SA can find near optimal solution in much less time than exact algorithm.
