Computer Center The Computer Center at Iran University of Science and Technology is under the supervision of the Vice-Chancellery for Research and Technology, and was established with installation and launch of CDC computers in 1970. In 1972 after buying and installing IBM Mainframes, the center expanded its activities, and provided software and hardware services. Currently, all university IT affairs including email, web servers, internet phones, network administration, internet and intranet bandwidth, wireless internet services, especially, in the dormitories, and the usage of modern methods and technologies such as virtualization, centralization of the university servers, and etc. are controlled by the Computer Center.
