با حکم رییس دانشگاه، دکتر نوروزمحمد نوری (عضو هیات علمی دانشکده مهندسی مکانیک)، به سمت «مدیر دفتر نظارت و ارزیابی و تضمین کیفیت» منصوب شد.
دکتر ذاکری (رییس دانشگاه)، ضمن تقدیر از دکتر سرپولکی (مدیر سابق دفتر نظارت، ارزیابی و تضمین کیفیت)، در حکم مورخ 25/7/97 خود دکتر نوری را برای مدت دو سال به سمت «مدیر دفتر نظارت و ارزیابی و تضمین کیفیت» منصوب کرد.
در حکم رییس دانشگاه خطاب به دکتر نوری آمده است: امید است با استعانت از خداوند متعال و با بهره مندی از تجارب ارزشمند سایر همکاران و مشارکت کلیه حوزه های ستادی و دانشکده ها، در راستای استقرار نظام نظارت، ارزیابی و تضمین کیفیت، با بهره گیری از دانش روز در زمینه فناوری اطلاعات و هماهنگ با سایر سامانه های موجود بر اساس اهداف کمی و کیفی برنامه چهارم توسعه راهبردی دانشگاه علم و صنعت ایران، نسبت به پیشبرد هر چه مطلوبتر محورهای زیر اهتمام ورزید:

طراحی و استقرار نظام تضمین کیفیت در دانشگاه منطبق با اسناد بالادستی

رفع موانع توسعه سیستم گزارش گیری برخط به منظور امکان اخذ گزارشات آماری دقیق و لحظه ای از سیستم های نرم افزاری حوزه های مختلف دانشگاه

اهتمام به فعال سازی بیش از پیش شورای نظارت، ارزیابی و تضمین کیفیت
