Materials Engineering research Center of Iran university of science and technplogy has been instituted in 1994 for interdisciplinary investigations in this university. The main goals of this research group are listed below:

1-     Providing a research group to investigate the scientific and industrial problems related with materials science in an academic center.

2-     Improvement of the technical knowledge of materials processing.

3-     Providing the technical and scientific knowledge of advanced materials processing including pilot plans.

4-     Providing training courses related with materials science and metallurgical engineering.
