With the coordination made by the Office of International and Scientific Cooperation a delegation from University of Malaya, Malaysia, including Prof. Dr. Saad Mekhilef, acting deputy dean (higher degree) of faculty of engineering, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Moghavvemi, professor of department of electrical engineering, and Mrs. Shahzatul Ermiza Johol, assistant registrar of University of Malaya visited Iran University of Science and Technology on Aug. 26, 2013 to discuss mutual interests.

 

  The discussion session held on the conference hall of the school of electrical engineering. IUST vice-chancellor for cultural affairs, dean and a number of faculty members of the school of electrical engineering and school of mechanical engineering and director of the office of international and scientific cooperation attended the session.

  The delegation visited some of the laboratories of the school of electrical engineering as well as the robotics research laboratory in the school of computer engineering.

  Iran University of Science and Technology and University of Malaya have a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2012.
