Bridge on Km 23+000 is a two-span old masonry arch bridge in Iranian railway network. The bridge has been loaded to find out the maximum loading capacity of the bridge. The bridge was instrumented with 7 deflection meters. The bridge managed to withstand a static load of 728 tons. The bridge demonstrated relatively stiff and strong response, despoite initiation of enormous cracks, and it yielded under load levels much greater than the service load.
