Due to importance of the bridge, Railway association of Iran has decided to consider Izakhast bridge for long-term monitoring. The bridge is instrumented with strain gauges and deflection meters. Deflection meters are one of the products offered by IMIRL. The monitoring system allows for evaluation of speed and axle loads of crossing trains, and would signal a message if passing trains cross the bridge with excessive speeds or axle loads.
